A glimpse into my busy life outside research and school.

Marching Band

I'm a rank leader (student leader) in the University of Wisconsin Marching Band, performing at home football games and several other athletic events and performances. This role has strengthened my teamwork, discipline, and creativity, while providing a fun outlet beyond research and academics. Curious about my marching? Check out my YouTube channel.

Woodworking

I build furniture and small projects in my free time. I enjoy the challenge of precision and design, and the satisfaction of creating something useful with my hands.

Skiing

I have skied for almost the entirety of my life. I have also been a competitive ski racer since early middle school and am now a member of the Wisconsin Alpine Ski Team. This year (my senior year) I competed in snowboard racing, a worthwhile challenge.

Climbing

I have recently become interested in rock climbing, and primarily climb in and around the Madison area.
